Y'all, I openly admit, I love goofy holidays. And Pi Day has been a family tradition since I married my nerdy husband. I love fun days where you can dress up, decorate, make fun food, and change up your routine. and Pi day means we try to find as many ways to eat PIE in a day!
What is Pi Day?
Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π. Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π. In 2009, the United States House of Representatives supported the designation of Pi Day.
How to Celebrate Pi Day with Pie:
Bright and early in our household, Pi day starts with breakfast pie… quiche! Then my husband used to tell the kids some corny math jokes as they got ready for school. Dinner was always our favorite Pizza PIE!
But the best part of the day was Pi Buffet! We would have several different pies and the kids were free to enjoy a night of pie indulgence!
