Pumpkin Spice Latte
Pumpkin Spice Latte Season is here!
This week we share one of my FAVORITE drinks, Pumpkin Spice Lattes are my Go-To chilly weather drink. And all you need to make them at home is a few easy ingredients and 5 minutes!
What is pumpkin spice?
Pumpkin spice is a blend of spices that include cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice and ginger. It doesn’t actually have pumpkin in it at all. But it’s the spices associated with pumpkin pies.
Pumpkin Spice lattes were made popular at coffeehouses like Starbucks and has become a seasonal favorite.
I think it tastes like fall in a cup!
I like to pair Pumpkin Spice lattes with my Pumpkin Spice cupcakes for a perfect fall treat.

Variations:
- You can easily make this recipe dairy-free with using vegan whipped cream and plant milk.
- If you don’t have espresso, this can be made with very strong coffee.
- Like a tea latte? Try this recipe with a strong black tea.
- If making this recipe vegan, leave out the honey.

Try a new coffee blend
Our pumpkin spice latte is great with Coopers’s Cask Coffee, it’s a small batch coffee aged in bourbon and whiskey barrels. For this recipe, we recommend The Thomas Tew Rum – Rwanda Rum barrel aged coffee. It’s from Newport, RI and has notes of caramelized sugar, red raisins, molasses, rick cocoa, spices and vanilla. It’s very smooth and has a richness when used as espresso. The shot heightens the sweet toffee and cocoa and makes this a perfect blended drinking coffee.

Fun Topping Ideas:
- Whipped Cream
- Cinnamon
- Captain Crunch cereal
- Caramel
- Brown Sugar
