CBD Tea is an easy way to unwind and destress

Benefits of CBD include helping to:

  • Support a good night’s rest
  • Maintain a sense of overall wellness
  • Assist post-workout recovery
  • Support healthy skin

These are just a few of the uses for CBD. By consuming this tea, you may find support for any of those areas.

There are two ways to make CBD hemp tea: using the actual hemp plant and activating the phytocannabinoids yourself or using a CBD oil. However, using hemp leaves isn’t a viable option for most people.

Pairing CBD Tinctures with Tea

The best part about making CBD tea is mixing and matching to make your flavor profiles. With thousands of herbs to choose from, your choice of tea leaves is almost limitless. You can transform these flavors even more by pairing them with our delicious line of CBD tinctures.

Many CBD Tinctures come in flavors:

Here are some great ways to integrate CBD Tinctures into your tea time:

Best Teas To Pair With Unflavored CBD Tinctures

Hemp itself has a bit of a nutty herbal flavor. Now, imagine adding this earthy treat into tea? Exactly! That’s why this flavor pairs great with:

  • Black
  • Green
  • Yellow
  • Darjeeling
  • Oolong

Mint CBD Tinctures

Mint, tea and CBD are all great for settling your stomach. Whether you’ve had too much to eat or are feeling a bit nauseous after a car ride, CBD Tranquil Mint Tinctures can help support your natural internal functions. Be sure to pair with the following tea leaves:

  • Green
  • Gunpowder
  • Roman Chamomile
  • White

Lemon CBD Tinctures

Pucker up! Nothing gets you more prepared for cough and cold season (or a breezy summer day) than some lemon tea. Now, give your endocannabinoid system some extra support with a lemon CBD tincture. Pair your phytocannabinoid-rich oil with these tea leaves:

  • Green
  • Roman Chamomile
  • Jasmine
  • Dandelion
  • Earl Grey

Lemon accompanies any tea well — you’ll just want to make sure there’s not too much dairy if you usually like to add milk to your cup.

Orange CBD Tinctures

Need some zest in your life? Find it with orange — this flavor is another great addition to any tea blend. Give your tea a citrus burst by pairing orange with:

  • Ceylon
  • Chaga
  • Roobios
  • Black
  • White
why you should drink more tea

As tinctures are often oil-based, the CBD still won’t absorb into the tea water. However, many tinctures contain a carrier oil, such as MCT oil or extra-virgin olive oil, that will help your body with the absorption issue. You will just need to stir your tea more often to keep the flavor and CBD dispersed.

CBD is not naturally water soluble, you must add a fatty base to your tea to help with absorption. Adding in coconut milk or coconut oil makes for a more filling tea, which may not be ideal. One of the best ways to simplify your CBD hemp tea project is to use CBD tinctures.

  • 1 cup distilled water
  • Loose tea leaves of your choosing
  • CBD Tincture

  1. Pour distilled water into a pot and place on the stove over medium-high heat.
  2. Once boiling or close to boiling, put choice of tea leaves into pot and cover.
  3. Steep for approximately five minutes.
  4. Take off heat, strain out the tea leaves and allow to cool for a few minutes. Cooling is essential — your CBD may lose potency when subjected to high temperatures.
  5. Add in the CBD tincture and stir.
  6. Wait about five minutes before serving.
