Holiday Shopping With Mama's Junk

Farmhouse Decor

Hey everybody, this week we are pulling down the decorations and starting to gather our holiday decor. I love decorating for all of the holidays.  So it's time to head to Mama's Junk Co. to find some sweet new additions to our holiday collection!

Here Comes Santa!

We had so much fun sorting through the great decorations and looking for the perfect Farmhouse Christmas decorations. Look at this easy little set, that you can use so many of your own DIY things to!

I think that the fat Canvas Hand Painted Santa makes this so adorable and it has such a classic look.

How to make this look:

Start with a standard tiered server. We love this white-washed server. But you can use whatever you have on hand.

Then begin layering your elements. We always have some hand-poured mason jar candles in the cabinet. I love the Paulownia Wood Bead Garland, but you could even use strung popcorn like we used to make when we were kids.

The trick is to keep it light and simple.

There's no place like Gnome for the holidays!

Gnomes are quickly becoming one of my favorite holiday characters. I found these weighted plush gnomes and I thought they were so perfect!

Decorate your bench with some holiday pillows and some wrapped gifts.

I like to wrap a few little things like scarves and gloves for unexpected guests.

Don't forget the outdoors!

We have a large front porch that is perfect for some of our larger decorating.

How to make this look:

Finding great pieces like this old window are gems that just take a little bit of hunting for. Search through flea markets, rummage sales, even thrift stores for old doors and windows that might just need a little sanding and a coat of chalk paint.

Doesn't this frosted juniper wreath with mini pine cones look perfect?

The aged metal Christmas trees are delightful in this display.

What do you think of our holiday finds?
