Our Top 10: A Look At What Y'all Loved From This Year
This has been a crazy year already! We are halfway through the year and already so much has happened! Wow!
I can't believe we are coming up on the end of summer pretty soon. It seems like just weeks ago we were fighting the snow and thinking about moving into our new farmhouse.
Summer for bloggers is a slow time. Most of our readers are out there enjoying the last weeks of vacation and prepping for back to school. So most bloggers, like myself take this time to get ready for the holidays, which is so weird to be thinking about winter decorating when it's almost 100 degrees out there!
So while we are prepping for fall recipes and tips on how to keep your body moving smoothly, enjoy some of the top posts from the first half of the year!
Here's Our Most Popular Posts of 2019
Before I jump into the list, I want to thank all of you who come and take a look at the blog. Over the last year, life has been really stressful and we have had a lot of changes. Physically and mentally, it's been a huge strain and there have been times that I've thought about giving up.
Now we are in our new house and I love it. But it's hard to pull myself away from decorating, gardening, and enjoying the summer to get back to work. Then I come and look at the comments that y'all have left for me and it is so cool. And so many of you have pinned and shared these posts and that is so awesome. Thank you all!
10. CBD For Anxiety
As most of you know, I have Chronic or Late Stage Lyme Disease. This comes with a lifetime of complications and special steps to take in order to live a full life. This post really seemed to touch a lot of you who were looking for your own answers as to how to use CBD to combat Lyme.
I love aromatherapy, but after learning how bad they can be. I was a little worried. This was a big eye-opener for me and for many of our readers. After we did our research, it was pretty clear that the big thing that we had been forgetting about was the plastic and boy did I feel dumb!
This year, I've spent a lot of time talking about mindfulness and self-love. The value not only to your mental health, but also your physical is immeasurable. This was a very popular post, I think because many of us are trying to find ways to care for ourselves and heal the wounds from years and years of neglect.
Lyme Disease is a whole-body illness, and it can and often does change how your brain reacts to stress, depression and anxiety are common, and sadly knowing that most of the time people with Lyme Disease are often misdiagnosed. Suicide is the most common cause of death with Lyme Disease patients.
Our #2 was another CBD related post that drew in a lot of readers in 2019. We tried out a great new product and shared our thoughts about the company and the product.
This was our most popular review! We do a lot of reviews, most of them are products that we like and we want to share that experience with our readers. But this was one of the first reviews that we wanted to warn our readers about a product that really failed badly. And we weren't alone! We saw lots of comments and emails about other consumers who had similar stories and experiences. That's why this post made it to #1 of our Top 10.
I love being able to look back at the year, see where things have been going and get a good idea of where I want to keep moving forward. This really helps to keep a good perspective on what you guys as readers want to see more of and what is keeping you coming back.
We love hearing your thoughts and I want to thank you again for all of those pins, shares, and comments. They mean a lot!
