5 Fabulous Recipes Using Fresh Ricotta

Today's post is a bit short but full of great recipes that we hope you will enjoy. I collected 5 fabulous recipes with fresh ricotta from some of my favorite food bloggers around the internet. I love making homemade ricotta. It is easy, uses simple ingredients, and doesn't take much time or effort.  Better than store-bought, you can make a large batch of ricotta and use it for several recipes this week. I love it spread over toast, add a dash of lime and a pinch of ground red pepper… mmm, better than avocado toast and cheaper! One of the cool things about ricotta is that you can use up leftover milk.  We had a gallon about to expire after my husband and I both dashed to the store one night to get milk… separately, not knowing the other one had gone.  So we came home to a lot of milk and not enough cookies to dip.  That was my inspiration for making fresh ricotta and I was so glad that I did.  Now I make it all the time!

Here are five outstanding recipes from some of our favorite food bloggers that you can use your fresh ricotta in and be the shining star in your kitchen.

I love the small batch idea. You don't need to make a lot. Sometimes it's fun just to have something sweet for you and your special person to share.
