When you are living with a chronic illness you might feel like you are fighting this terrible thing and nobody understands what you are going through. You keep asking how you are supposed to go on living with this thing hanging over you. These awesome people not only show you that real life people also live with chronic illnesses but also have some great messages to share about life.
Hank Green isn't usually known for having a chronic illness. Instead, he's known for his awesome nerdiness. He and his brother John Green are usually known for their videos and game info. Hank has ulcerative colitis and as he talks about in this video, knows exactly what it's like to live with crazy illness issues like pooping in your pants!
I love him and love his message about living life that isn't centered around your disease.
This young woman is so beautiful and brave. She bravely makes videos about living her life with her chronic illness. She has Gastroparesis, and through her vlogs, she spreads awareness about living a full life in spite of nasal tubes and her struggles with her disease.
Amy is super adorable and does a great job. She tells some fantastic stories and touches lives and inspires others who have medical conditions. She's smart and funny, and I love her videos.
Mary and Peter will melt you with their sweetness. Both of them have such a great outlook on life and living the best life they can with Cystic Fibrosis. Along with her Service Dog, Oliver, they not only inspire you to reach for the stars and fight your chronic illness. But they also teach others what it is like to live with a service dog, genetic illnesses and mobility issues.
Those Living with Chronic Illnesses Have A Lot To Teach
I've been watching so many of these inspirations that I just want to go out and do things right now! So, that's what I'm going to do. Live your life beyond your limits. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't live your dreams.
