Since the beginning of the year, I've been trying to take some healthier steps to have a stronger body.
Fighting Lyme Disease is hard. You have both physical pain and a lot of muscle weakness to deal with. So it is easy to gain weight and harder to lose it. I've been working with a great physical therapist since my surgery in December. But it's clear that I have a long road to go.
This week sucked. And I really wanted to turn to a box of chocolates and a latte to cheer me up. However, I didn't want to ruin my efforts to lose a few more pounds. The weight is hard on recovering muscles and tendons.
