What’s your favorite chili ingredient?  I LOVE adding corn chips over the top.  That’s my crispy with the spice texture combo.

I love winter cooking – it’s slow and lazy, just like the season.  It’s a time when you don’t mind staying close to the kitchen all day, tending whatever stew or braise you have working.  The cooking methods generally do most of the work themselves, you just have to check in occasionally.  It’s also a good time to make big batches of one-pot meals so you have plenty of leftovers to freeze.  Then when you have a not-so-lazy day you can just thaw and reheat, yay!
