I love brownies. I love them warm and chewie. So when I went gluten-free this summer I worried that I would have a hard time finding a recipe for brownies that wouldn’t come out grainy or dry. There is nothing worse than biting into a browie to find it taste more like playdough than chocolate. So I scoured the internet to find a couple recipes that would sooth my chocolate cravings.
There are some great recipes to be found for brownies, although finding gluten free recipes was a little harder. But I found these recipes and they make my mouth water!
I also fell in love with Elana’s Pantry after watching this video for brownies. New York Times Bestselling author Elana Amsterdam is so talented in the kitchen. Her blog,Elana’s Pantry, is full of healthy, grain-free, easy to follow recipes. It has become one for my favorite gluten free sites.
When I found this 3 ingredient recipe I wasn’t sure that this was going to be as easy as it claimed. But in fact it is not only easy, but if you watch all the way to the end, he shows you how to make a beautiful dessert treat that you can serve at your next special occasion.
I have always left the baking to my husband who is a genius in the kitchen. Baking has always been too structured and demands following the rules, where cooking was more creative and only required my general idea of what I wanted to add. However, after watching these recipes come to life, I’m ready to grab a spatula and get to baking.
