My Writing Life: The rules I live by


I’m not really one for structure. I have always been the type to just … do… regardless of what others said was right or wrong.

This has always worked out really well for me even when I fail epically, as failure often has more lessons in it than success.

But one place I have rules is when it comes to my writing persona and how ‘she’ conducts herself, especially on the internet.

Now these are MY rules. Not the right rules. They don’t have to be your rules.

These five things allow me to exist in this world with the least amount of unnecessary stress possible.

I believe in fostering meaningful, REAL relationships with other readers and writers and these are a few ways in which I do so.
