My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I read this book as part of a book club with other Jewish women. We were all eager to read this book and chat about it. But sadly after we finished we were all left very disappointed.

The story had possibilities, however the writing and plot fell flat. We really wished that there had been more to draw us in, however the story didn’t really have much of a kick. I really wanted to make a connection with the woman through her story. Though I found myself through the whole book hoping something eventful would actually happen. It is boring and not really a good read at all.

I don’t like writing negative reviews. I know that it takes a lot of skill and nerve to write. But the editor of this book should have known better. This woman isn’t a writer. She had an interesting story to sell but not the skill to craft a good story.
