Ugh. I’d like to start off by saying: Vera Brosgol is my idol. She hasn’t always been. In fact, I only recently heard about her but holy smokes. I love her. The art in this is so absolutely adorable! It almost reminds me of a cross between Adventure Time and Gravity Falls. The characters are more rounded off but also kind of noodley. I love it. Chubby faces, Anya’s thick legs, Sibohan’s gangly arms. I just can’t with this art. It’s too much. Too much cute for one book.
